The Wind Ensemble closes out their 2019-2020 season with a bang! The concert opens with the world premiere of a new fanfare by UMass Alumnus Brian Martin (‘19), then continues with Stravinsky’s complex and sophisticated homage to Debussy Symphonies of Wind Instruments. Paul Lavender’s brilliant transcription of Mussorgsky’s entire Pictures at an Exhibition will close the program.
